|

This year is the 70th Anniversary of the Battle of Britain, where the Allied 'Few' fought and beat off the German Luftwaffe, providing the first 'turning-point' of the war.

Anyone up for running/playing a game/campaign to mark this special occasion????
There isn't a WW2 version of Airwar yet, but I do have 'Check your 6' which is a good game but needs a hex grid. Dave has 'Bag the Hun' which I kinda find confusing I must admit........... I can't remember if I have the relevant aircraft figures for the BoB........... may need to make another order with Doms Decals once the Ash Cloud buggers off from Blighty.
Anyone have any ideas??

Bag the Hun also requires a hex grid
I've got aircraft. Some spits, hurris, He 111's, Me 109s.
Just need to stop playing L4D2 and slap some paint on them
And I've been thinking very heard about getting a hex playing mat from Hotz mats.... just haven't got around to ritually sacrificing my credit card yet.

Left 4 Dead 2... a zombie killing first-person shooter. Think "Dawn of the Dead" or "Zombieland" but with you holding the chainsaw instead
Multi-player and cooperative up to 4 players. I've been playing it online with KJ and it's mucho addictive.
This is digressing from the subject tho so do you have any rules which don't require a hex mat? I need some incentive to paint my BoB minis

Could try and do some house-rules for Airwar...... though it is really designed for jets.
I have the "Mustangs" rules, but again they need a hex grid.... grrrrr
Hang on, I think there may have been an appendix in the 'Check your 6' rules for playing without a hex grid. Let me check tonight..........

Wings of War WW2 not enough to handle something like this?
I do like the BoB, mostly thanks to the air combat scenes in the classic movie. Count me interested.

I don't have Wings of War WW2
I'm planning to use Bag the Hun rules for BoB. But first, I need to solve the problem of a 6'x4' hex grid.
